Hello there!
I'm the writer behind Thaddeus, Morgane, but if my name is too difficult to remember, you may simply call me Mori. I'm a friendly French "writer" of 25, still learning about English, so I do hope my writings will satisfy you as it is, and learn some more around here!I'm taking the liberty to type that introduction out of character, for my dear Thaddeus is pretty elusive about his identity and abilities. I think you'll soon understand why after one or two details. His character is also still under construction. I'm pretty eager to discover more of him throughout our adventures!
Thaddeus is a Talamascan worker. Even if it feels for him like toying with fire, it is a call he's rather enjoying. Not for the endless paperwork and reports, of course, but because of the few field cases he can personally study. As far as he can remember, he has always been capable to interact with spirits and ghosts, and grew up for as a healer of bodies and souls. Many terms have been bestowed on him with time. Warlock. Medium. Savior even.
He's a tough worker, and enjoy more than anything to satisfy his boundless curiosity and help as many he can. However, by the past, his abilities and knowledge led obscure forces to get interested in him and his power. They tried their best to tempt him, to defile him, and ultimately succeeded to bring him near death by the betrayal of his closest.
And he did, die. About two thousand years ago.
His death drove the Blood previously forced into his veins by a secretive, silent maker forgotten from all, to change his inner nature. But Thaddeus was never truly like other blood drinkers, he would realize, after a century or two of lone perdition. As most, came a time he tried to embrace the sun, to merely rediscover the diurnal day, unharmed, as no immortal had before. Nor would ever.
For a while, it appeared like another curse bestowed upon him. It took him several encounters with both mortals and immortals to understand what good it could still bring.
Becoming a vampire turned down drastically many of his previous powers, but he is actually certain they are the key of his unique day-walking ability. Much of his present potency is used to keep sealed the rest of it, working as a protective glamour. In counterparts, he sadly needs to feed in blood much more than he actually would like to. And being formally opposed at the idea to drink and possibly kill or hurt a living being, Thad makes his best to form secret partnerships with blood banks that he would visit every nights.
The fact to be an immortal blood drinker have made of him a man enjoying more than ever the mortal and how they evolved with time. Even if he lives with the conviction that he must not bound too closely with them. For secrets seems to coat his skin like a somber, intimate fragrance. Secrets he definitely isn't ready to unveil. For now.
You can very well befriend him however! Thaddeus is a positive soul, trying his best not to be defined by his selective diet. He can actually indulge himself into drinking a tea or two with you, would nibble a biscuit here and there although he has no need of them. He's also pretty much liking a good wine from time to time.
In brief, he's a gentleman with tons of secrets, but very much prompt to help out and support whomever is in need.
As a writer, I have nothing against writing romance, intimacy between characters, and/or dark, graphic and gore. If ever you feel uncomfortable with anything, please, tell me so I'll make sure not to come across these topics with you. I would also tell you if there is something that bugs me, or that I don't understand. My purpose is to make sure we all have fun with our characters and I'll respect your decisions about yours.
You can also ask me anything! About him, or myself, I would be glad to answer you. Time zones are a little messy, but I'll still do!
